How to size your Gold & Eight clasped jewelry
G&E Bracelet
Typically, when ordering a bracelet, you should add about 1/2″ to 1” to your wrist size. That way, your bracelet won't be too snug around your wrist, but it also won't be loose enough to slide off your hand - it'll be just perfect.
Use a tape measure, or if you do not have one, use a strip of paper, ribbon, or cord. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear the bracelet.
If you are using a strip of paper, ribbon, or cord. Mark the end of the strip and then measure the length against a ruler.
G&E Necklace
Using the same method, you can also size your neck. It is a good idea to opt for a necklace size that is at least the second size up from your neck size. For example, if you have an 18-inch neck, you should probably choose a chain length of 20 inches or more. An 18-inch chain would feel too tight.
You can use the ribbon or cord to create a “necklace” at your desired length. Mark the end and measure the distance to determine how long your chain should be.
G&E Anklet
Most designers recommend adding 1/4 to 1 inch to the measurement you recorded for the proper hang. If your ankle measurement is 9 inches, for example, and you want a standard hang, your anklet size would be 9.5 - 10. This is the average sizing.
